This policy explains what information TarotReading4U collects, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have.

Who we are
TarotReading4U ("we", "us") is a free online Tarot reading and Tarot education website. This policy covers the personal information handled through the site. For any privacy question or request, contact us at tarotreading4u.team@gmail.com.
The short version
- An account is optional: you can use the site and get a reading without one. If you create an account, we store your name and email address.
- To write your reading, the question and situation you enter are sent to our AI provider.
- Your question, situation and reading are stored encrypted and deleted automatically after 90 days. (Readings saved to your account are the exception: see “When you create an account”.)
- We never send your question, situation or reading to analytics or advertising tools, and we do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
When you request a reading
- What you enter: the topic, relationship status (for love readings), the question you choose and the situation you describe.
- Your reading: the cards you pick and the interpretation we generate.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser user agent and an anonymous browser identifier stored in a cookie. We use these to apply the free daily reading limit and to prevent abuse.
- Service information: the time of the reading, whether the interpretation succeeded, and the amount of AI processing used, so we can monitor quality and costs.
Please do not include other people's full names, contact details or sensitive information you would not want stored in your situation text.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use it only to respond.
When you create an account (optional)
- Email sign-up: your name, email address and a password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody (including us) can read it. We email you a 6-digit code to confirm your address; the code is not kept once it has been used or has expired.
- Sign in with Google: we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier from Google. We never see your Google password.
- Sign-in details: the time of your last sign-in, and a “remember me” cookie that keeps you signed in on this device.
- Reading history: readings you make while signed in (or sign in right after making) are saved to your account so you can see them again under “My readings”. They stay encrypted and are kept until you delete them. Readings made while signed out are not linked to anyone and are deleted automatically as described below.
When you browse
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical logs (such as IP address, requested page and time) to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
- To generate and show your Tarot reading (to provide the service you asked for).
- To apply daily limits, protect the service from abuse and keep it secure (our legitimate interests).
- To review the quality of readings and fix problems – authorised administrators can view stored readings for this purpose (our legitimate interests).
- To answer messages you send us.
AI processing
Reading interpretations are written by an AI model provided by Google (the Gemini API). To create your reading, we send your topic, question, situation and the cards you picked to this provider. We do not send your IP address, browser identifier or any account details with it. The provider processes this information under its terms for API customers, and it may be processed on servers outside your country.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep information
- Readings – including the question, situation, cards, interpretation, IP address and browser identifier – are deleted automatically 90 days after they are created. (Readings saved to your account are the exception: see “When you create an account”.)
- Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.
- Hosting logs are kept for a short period in line with our hosting provider's settings.
- Accounts are kept until you ask us to delete them. Email us and we will delete your account and the details listed above.
Security
Your question, situation and reading are encrypted in our database. Access to stored readings is limited to authorised administrators. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run the site (such as our hosting provider and our AI provider), when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service. We do not sell personal information and we do not use your readings for advertising. If you sign in with Google, Google handles that sign-in under its own privacy policy. Our email provider delivers the verification codes we send you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you have an account, we can find, change or delete it using your email address. Readings you make while signed out are not tied to a name or an account, so the easiest way for us to find one is if you tell us roughly when you made it and the topic you chose. Readings saved to your account can be viewed and deleted by you at any time under “My readings”. To make a request, email tarotreading4u.team@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
TarotReading4U is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has used the service and shared personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
